In a small town where the minimum wage is $13, local street gangs gamble on underground fighting rings to pay their tuition, and the mayor once ran for reelection against a live chicken, the workforce of a rundown old multiplex are constantly pitted against hordes of idiot customers, racist assholes in leather jackets, and each other.
Welcome to Cityville, USA, home of the Zoolaplex.
Who doesn't love a good workplace dramedy? Couple that with a little satire, political commentary and more movie references than you can shake a stick at, and you've got 'Zoolaplex'! Reece started producing his acclaimed audio-drama with fellow voice actors he'd met and connected with online. After a year of writing, casting and pre-production, the newly-formed No Studio In Particular released their first ever episode on January 2nd 2015. Since then, they've released a season and a half of complete episodes and a series of short skits, parodies and mini-sodes affectionately dubbed the 'Zoolaverse Shorts', all modestly funded by a number of dedicated fans through the show's Patreon page. During the show's tenure, the studio have received 35 nominations across every category at the annual Audio Verse Awards, including Best Writing, Best Actor and Best Actress, and Best Production. The show has served as a starting point for dozens of small-time voice talent and featured a number of high-profile artists, including Jon Bailey, Kieran Strange, Sean Chiplock, Elsie Lovelock, and Doug Walker. While some cast members have left NSIP behind, the current cast has proven to be secure and dedicated to bring the world quality content that celebrates the true millennial values of hard work, respect and diversity.
