Frequently Asked Questions - Clients

Our clients are the lifeblood of our work. We strive for excellence and top-quality service in every project we work on, and if you should decide to work with us on your project, we guarantee the same level of dedication and care! But if you're still unsure, here's a few frequently asked questions to help!

Q: How do I join your talent roster/mailing list?

A: We don't keep any private talent rosters or mailing lists, mostly due to reasons of privacy and personal information, as well as the administrative upkeep. Your best bet is to follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and/or join our Discord server to stay appraised of any public casting opportunities!

Q: Do you only do public casting calls?

A: While we do post a lot of public casting opportunities, we are often asked to source voice talent through private or restricted opportunities. In cases like this, we usually: A) approach talent we've worked with before or whose reputations we know; B) ask for referrals from our friends and colleagues in the industry; or C) open a public submissions window for applicable talent to submit demos, samples, etc.

Q: Can you give me any feedback on my audition?

A: In most cases, we won't be able to offer any individual feedback on auditions in public calls, purely due to time constraints. We do often post general feedback on Twitter or Discord after public casting calls—like this post here!—and we're always posting new tips and advice whenever we have any.

Q: Do you have a minimum standard for equipment?

A: While we don't have a specific minimum standard for microphones, hardware, etc. we encourage talent to always be looking for ways to improve their recording setup and environment. An audition's audio quality is always under the same scrutiny as its voice and performance. We do certainly prefer XLR microphones to USB microphones, but every audition we receive is considered!

Q: What's your policy on POC/LGBTQ+ representation?

A: We wholeheartedly support calls to cast minority talent in applicable minority roles, and we don't believe casting representationally comes at any cost or 'sacrifice' of talent/quality. We often 'STRONGLY ENCOURAGE' certain groups of talent to audition for particular roles in public casting calls, but we understand that we can't stop people from auditioning for whatever roles they want to and all auditions are considered. That said, the ways in which we consider auditions are up to us!

Q: Do you only work on Non-Union projects?

A: At present, we have yet to work on any projects associated with any actors' Unions or Guilds, nor have we been approached to do so. If we were ever given the chance to work on any projects that were associated with any Unions or Guilds, we'd welcome the opportunity and do our best!
